J I WAIL_ STATE ARMY Dr. Valentin Arenas Arminan, in his capacity of President of the Junta de Accion Cat6lica Cubana, has received acceptances from the following dele- gations to the Inter-American Catholic Action Assembly scheduled to be held in Habana 7-14 February 1949. The names of the delegates are not yet known. The United States will be represented by the Catholic Action Department of the National Catholic Welfare Conference, and the delegation will con- sist of Francis Cardinal Spellman as well as three bishops and ten laymen. Argentina will be represented by the Auxiliary Bishop of Buenos Aires and a five member delegation. Chile will be represented by the Auxiliary Bishop of Santiago and a four member delegation. Bolivia will be represented by a one member delegation. Ecuador will be represented by a one member delegation. Uruguay will be represented by a two member delegation. Paraguay kill be represented by a one :nemioer delegation. Curacao will be represented byta one member delegation. J iaica will be represented by a one member delegation. The Dominican Republic will be represented by a four member delegation. Haiti will be represented by a two member delegation. Peru will be represented by a four member delegation. Mexico will be represented by a four member delegation. Brazil has accepted but the size of the delegation is not known. It is anticipated however that there will be one cardinal or one bishop in the group. Canada has accepted but the size of the delegation is not known.
