(LISTED BELOW) SUPPLEMENT TO 1o Although Salvadoran aid for the-Nicaraguan revolutionary movement against Somoza has been denied for the present, Major Oscar 0sorio, one of the leaders of the governing junta in El Salvador, has given his personal promise to revolutionists Vicente Saenz and Juan Jose Mesa that within one or two months he will be able to make a concrete offer. Saenz and Meza departed for Mexico on 3 January after having failed to obtain aid on their first attempt. Carlos Castillo Ibarra, Nicaraguan revolutionary leader, was expected to return to El Salvador from Guatemala to renew efforts to date in military aid while Major Osorio gets rid of Lt. Colonel Cordova, his rival in the Salvadoran Junta. 3. Nicaraguan revolutionaries now say they were double-crossed by President Figueroa of Costa Rica, whose last minute attitude precluded operations against Nicaragua from Costa Rica and frightened the President of Guatemala into withholding aid for the revolutionaries.
