REPORT NO.
1. After the fall of Boekit Tinggi on the afternoon of 21 December ,the main body
of Dutch troops remained thero with 1 battalion advancing toward Loeboeksikaping.
from there they will attack Padangsidimpoean.
2. The Tentera Nasional Indonesia (TWI) 5 Division is putting up strong resistance
against the Dutch in the Residency of Rem}-aang.
.3. As of noon the 22nd of December the following places were still in Indonesian
hands:
Java: M adioen, Kediri,. NQavi and Pat j itaan ,
Sumatra; All southern Sumatra, D ja mbi, Rengat and other places on the
east coast, Sibolgaa, some areas in the Batak region and all of Atjeh.
4. Bantam is being attacked by the Dutch, but Serang is still in Indonesian
hands.
