pravous denial of Argentine complicit in the recent plot against the
Gonzalez Videla Goverment (e?. and violently accused the Chilean
Snvestigacionee of inefficiency, dishonesty, and a malicious attitude toward
Argent-Ina.)
Alessandri is now actively opposing President Gonzalez Videla, whose position
he considers untenable. He believes the President's only alternative is to
resign, and visions himself or secondarily his son Jorge, Minister of Finance,
as the next President and savior of Chile.
