On 2 December 1948. Mohammed Hatta held a closed session with the
Komite Nasional Indonesia Poesat (KNIP) in which the negotiations
were discussed. The KNIP has informed Hatta that it agrees to continued
negotiations with the Dutch through the Good Offices Committee, but all
}nformal talks with the Dutch must cease?
