The Shanghai branch of TASS is closely connected with the local office of the All-Union Association for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries (VOKS), which is under the direction of G. V. Materials for lectures are supplied to the Culture and Education Department of the SCA by TASS or VOKS. Lecturers are instructed to follow closely the materials supplied.
