Comment. It was reported on 26 December 1947 that A. +tartabone
was a member of the Good ~,ill Mission from Last Indonesia to the Republic

3. The right wing group supporting the Cabinet is compo:sed o!.' the following
faction and leaders:
Federalists: Anak Agoeng Gde Agoeng, of Bali, with
Dr, Soumoukil as the most reactionary mt:mber
of his cabinet.
4. A. C. .anoppo and A., ,artabone are making preparations for the
formation of a new State of North Celebes, 6hich is to be made up of }3oeol,
Gorontalo, and.1 olaang Mongondow, with Manado as the center of govern .ent.,
Johannes Latuharhary, East Indonesian nationalist leader appointed by the
Republic of Indonesia as "Governor of Greater East", is now in Jogjakarta
and'is taking charge of the following armed political bodies:
Gerakan Rakjat Indonesia boenda Ketjil (Ghlo.) (iwinor Soonda #xLdoniesian
People's Movement), commanded by A. S. Pello;
Kebaktihan Rakjat Indonesia 5oelawesi (KRIb) (Celebes Indonesian People's
Loyalty), commanded by Kindangan;
Ikatan Perdjuangan Kalimantan (IPK) (Borneo's Fighters' Association),
commanded by G. M. Ibrahim of i3andjarmasin;
Pemoeda Indonesia i.Aloekoe (PI:~) (i..oluccas Indonesian Youths' Party),
consisting of pro-Republic Armbonese.extremists.

Partai Sosialis Indonesia (PSI), and of the Indonesian delegation. i3oe-
diardjo makes contact with A. Mononutu, Progressive leader at Makassar,
through PIN's local commissary, E. R. Sumampouw, who was,in 1946, special
area Indonesian civil police inspector, now living at Oud GondarAgdia No. 2b
Batavia Centrum, Dr, J. Ratoelangi, another important East ian nat-
ionalist leader,is persona non grata with the Dutch (3-2).

the Republic of Indonesia in September 1945. This position was abolished
by Soekarno in July 1947.)
