It is reported that by the and of September 1948, the Yugoslavs were again sending arms, supplies and ammunition to the Greek Rebels in the Beles area. 2. The Rebel'Army officer nAlekoa" recently arrived at the Rebel liaison office at Donceli, Yugoslavia with three truck loads of arms and amminition which had been brought from Velaa to D3evdjelija by rail. This material, most of it said to have been of German origin, consisted of light machine guns, rifles, mines, bazookas and ammunition. It was subsequently sent over the Greek frontier by mule train via the Korona Mountains4 3.
