1. The highest directorate of the Ordrrangspolizei, or Kreispolizei, in Saxony
is located in Dresden. C'lief of this directorate is Roffman. Below this
:i9.rectorate are six Polizei Praesidia, at Dresden, Che*nitz, Plauon, Zwickau,
Goerlitz and Leipzig. Each Prassidiun controls various, Kreispolizeiaenter
located in separate Kreis to,rns, each of which is in turn in control of "our
Gebietsgerreinscha:.'ten, and, in lamer cities, of subordinate Polizei Praesidia.
A Gebietsgereinschaft is oubdivided into Polizeidienststellen stationed in small
to,.-ms; these Dienststellen var^- considerably in number within different Gebiets-
gemeinschaft.en, according to the incidence of towns.

Soviet Zone to the Landpolizei and in the Averiean Zone to the Stadtrolizei,

?, The typical organization at Kreiepolizeiant level and belo~?r is ex2Mplified
by Kreispolizeiant Stollberv, which includes a total of 350 man (police on
duty= and administra'ive police), and controls the Gebietageneinschaften Stoll-
berg, Oelsnitz, Lu.,gau, and Zwoenitz, each of i4hich includes a total of between
75 and 80 men. Belau these Ga'aietsgemeinschaften, the size of the Dienststellen
in small towns varies bet'.ieen 2 and 22 r^en, according to the local population.
A Kriminalpolizei section of between 5 and 10 fen is stationed at Kreispolizeinrwt
Stollberg, as et all other Kraispolizeiaemter; also at Kreispolizeiamt `'tollberg
