Augusto Alberdi de Gausebzck, ex-director of the German Bank in New York,
arrived in Buenos Aires from Spain around July 1948. He is currently
living at the Hotel Barrancas at Calls 3 de Febrero. He is attempting
to regain certain of his assets which had been deposited in Argentina
prior to World War II and which were subsequently confiscated by the
1!rgentine government. His wife is now in New York City attempting to
regain control of their frozen assets in that city. When that is ac-
complished, she expects to go to Buenos Aires, where they will settle
permanently.
