A plenary meeting of the head office of the Geraken Revoloesi Rakjat (GRR) was
held on 1 September 1948 in Jogjakarta and the following program was decided upon:
i. Concerning the situation in the interior and in foreign countries to
press the government of the Republic of Indonesia to make regulations
in the first phase as follows:
a. To stop all negotiations with the Dutch Government.
b.. To return the Indonesian-Dutch question to the Security Council,
c. In the future to acknowledge only the decisions of the U.N. if the Republic h4
fall. membership in the U.B.
d. To accept every recognition of foreign countries on the basis of
full independence.
2. To let the people know that the -political statement of the GRR on 6 June
1948 has not yet been changes:
a. That in the first place the Indonesian people have the responsibility
to carry out to completion their revolution for independence.
b. Not to become involved in World War III so long rue the authority of
the United States of the Republic of Indonesia is not settled in all
of Indonesia.
Concerning interior affairs:
a. To carry out. general mobilization and the military training on a large
scale, in order to organize people's defense.
b. To change the factories of reconstruction and peace time production
back to military production.
c. To organize, train and arm the irregular troops.
d. To cope with economic disorders and to set up a distribution system to
supply the needs of soldiers and laborers.
To make regulations against the destructive elements in society.

f. To provide for those who are displaced as a "salt of the rationalization
plan of the military forces and to bring things back to noraialgr
before this takes effect.
g. To free and rehabilitate all persons now Qn3er political arrest.
h. To appoint GAM representatives to the Working Committee of the Unite
National Indonesia Poesat equal to the number of Partai 8asional
Indonesia. Masjoemi and People's Democratic Front as long as the
general election has not been carried out.
