1. There are about 300 well--arried Communists of the Beroean.g Merah in the village
of Tempoeran, near Pasir Poetih. They landed there on 5 October 1948 from
Rembang, Middle Java.
2. On 11 October 1948 they encountered the Dutch police about 10 kilometers south
of Lravang, killing two Chinese and one Indonesian constable.
3. In nearby Patjing there is a concentration of about 150 Comrranists of the
Boero Perdjoangan who are cooperating with Bapak Matjem.
4. At Baboelak Tiibadak, five kilometers east of Tjibaroesa In rural Bogorw there
is a concentration of about 150 Comm-mist guerrillas led by a Japanese. They
are well arned and wear the sane ty?,e of khaki uniforms as troops of the
Royal Netherlands Indonesian Army (RNPIA), They were responsible for the recent
attack on the rubber factory of the Michiels Arnold Company, where two
Indonesian factory workers were murdered.
