SUPPLEMENT TO
.each day three non-scheduled trains with eirht to ten passenger oars
travel along the :-lu.'apest- I3elgrade railroad route. The trains stop
only for fuel and water. Hungarian porsonnel are observed on these
trains but none are permitted to leave the train at the stations; local
-police are present to see that the soldiers remain in the cars. The
personnel of the railroad refer to these trains as "mute trains" because
no talking is ever heeby. The railroaders suspect the Hungarian
soldiers are really Red .'my men in Hungarian uniforms.
