stbout four or five thousand former prisoners of ~,ar are currently
receiving, i;olice training in the barracks of the former Resettle-
reie:n.t C(Ume iedlerlager) at Filrstenvaalde. The ma*ority of these
men were formerly members of the 'Free Germany Committee (`Tationa:l-
komite Fries Deutschland) in the USSR, and were returned to Germany
within the past six months. The courses are also attended by three
ree pr senti) tiv s from each of the rand i i,stries of the interior in
the Soviet zone.
2. The instruction is given by German and Lussian "? E,rs.on~'el. It is
bath theoretical and r ractical. The training scv ool ha.s extensive
facilities, including a firing range, motor pool, and armory.
