During the week of Selatember 5-12, sixty-nine Soviet citizens applied for visas from Mukden to intramural China;, at least fifty more are expected to make application during the current week. As of September 1, the Soviet community of Mukden numbered 525 persons. 2. The cause of these frenzied efforts to leave Mukden inmediately is the sected visIX of Soviet Vice-Consul Seregin of Peiping.
