'THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION FOR THE RESEARCH
USE OF TRAINED INTELLIGENCE ANALYSTS
1. in addition to the existing merchant marine wireless station at Fiume a
new wireless station has been established in the Fort Authority building
(Lucka Kapetanija.) at Split. The object of the station is to Maintain
both official and private wireless telegraph and telephone communications
with vessels at sea.
2. The station works uninterruptedly; the wave length is 600 meters.
3. The station is supplied With electricity from the too systems but a new
auxiliary and independent power station to strengthen the present trans-
mission is under construction. Aerials have been erected on the roof of
the Port Authority building at heights of twelve and five ateters8 The
work has been carried out by Yugoslav engineers.
