composed of members of the Dutch Labor (Socialist) Yarty0 Many of the
laborers at the port have no formal political affiliationso Several
thousand of them belong to Catholic trade unions, and the rest have
joined the EVC, The Netherlands' largest trade union which is Communist=
penetrated but not Communist-control.ledo
3. Should the Communist elements in Rotterdam attempt thesabotage of a single
ship bringing ERP supplies to Holland, source believes that the non-Communist
majority of the dockworkers would forcibly restrain such action.
