At the end of t?Iay 1941, the leador&"ip of SJD in Thuringia co enced a purge
within the patty rank: directed fl :gain^t "anti-Soviet elomonts." taED rienberr
affected were mainly former adherents of BPD.
2. In the Uordhaueon district.. forty-two former SPD rer.tbers were excluded from
