Stefan Sztimmoneki, Polish Minister in Buenos Aires, was scheduled to leave
Buenos Aires for Warsaw 23 June via Air France to present to the Warsaw
Government an Argentine trade treaty proposal. He plans to be absent from
Argentina three or four weeks,
2. Szuutiawaki recently conferred with Miguel Miranda and Foreign Minister Juan
D ugl.ia concerning the proposed treaty and found them both anxious to
begin negotiations, The Argentine Government believes it can buy between
50 and 100 million dollars worth of goods from Poland yearly and that a
similar amount of Argentine products could be exchanged in return. However,
Szvmowski believes the annual trade between the two countries will not ex-
eedd a combined total of 50 million dollars,
