:n the Quarnaro shipyards the construction of itA.S boats for the Yugoslav
Ta iy has begun.. The work, however, is going very slowly because of the
Lack of skilled workers. Despite frequent visits of technicians
(presumably Russa afa), the work in the Lussimpiccolo shipyards alone,, where
construction on 16 MAS boats has been start, - will not be finished within
i. year.
2. The last call-up to ax= of personnel was in the 192028 classes; the
1903-2O classes have begun to receive medical check-ups.
3.. Coastal patrollinj has been intensified in view of the numerous clandestine
expatriations.. The patrolling of the waters in the vicinity of Lussino is
controlled b,-,r one 11A,13 boat and four motor boats,
4., A "representative of the unified syndicate", acting as a political commissar,
has been placed on board merchant ships
