Dissatisfaction with expropriation procedures in land Saxonv-
A#xhalt led to well-substantiated protests to the Law and
Caestitutiona1 Committee of the Landtag, The Committee under-
took the investigation of expropriations based on Orders No.
124 and 126 and of errors of procedure in handling expropriated
property. Expropriations were conducted very informally, :sines
no regular procedure was 1e.lly established, no proper records
were kept, no reasons were given for expropriations,, and protests
