a Catholic cannot maintain a neutral position in the event of another world
war,,,
2? Luna spoke recently before an assembly of some 200 persons., predominately
nationalists, gathered at Carlos Pellegrini 1535,, Buenos Aires,, for a meeting
of the Cursos de Cultura., a Catholic organization.
3. Luna, who frequents nationalist circles and who appears to be an intense
Franco propagandist, was introduced by the nationalist and totalitarian
writer,, Dr. (fnu) Llambiaaa Luna stated that his views were in opposition
to those expressed by the Vatican 'and by L 'Observattore Romano, He added
that he fears no immediate war, and that ne Mer EFURR VS ates nor
Russia wants a war, Russia is not technically prepared and the United States
has no desire to wage a war, Luna explained,
Should another war occur., no Catholic country would be bound to participate.
Luna alluded specifically to Spain and Argentina when he stated that such
countries would have to receive assurances of continued complete independence
before entering into a war.
