1. In early July 1947, the 13th Soviet 11arine Regiment, with 2,200 men, was
aged11in rebuilding fortifications and air raid shelters in Swinoujscie
(Swineniu de) (N54/La). This unit also held frerluent coast artillery
practices.
2,, Also in Swinoujscie was a Soviet Naval Air Force regiment, with
fourteen twin-engine 'seaplanes of the "ILA11 and r'Kuktzruznik" types
German aircraft engines were being rebuilt in the regiment's workshops,,
3. In August the Polish Navy contingent in Swinoujscie consisted of four
PT boats. These boats, which patrolled the coast to check on fishing
vessels, were powered by Soviet "ILA" engines. Each had two torpedo
tubes, four heavy machine guns, two AA guns, and a crew of two

The Polish seaplane base at Dziwna (Dievenow) (054/L51) is being closed
down. It formerly had an air platoon of four biplanes. About 300
German Heinkel aircraft engines, seen in crates at the bash, were marked
for shipment to the USSR.
The following Polish units were located at Swinoujscie during Augusts
Neer Cpp.Of~~iy ywith 360 men under Lt, Voronkoy. Equipped with

Soviet carbines and tomny guns for NCC's. Duties: mine clearance
and reconstruction of barracks.
