of the flaganah into a regular army structure. The army will reportedly
consist of possibly two divisions of ton or twelve thousand troops eac,`iq
The agency claims their source of manpower is fatly adequate and inferred
that arrangements are being made for the importation of heavy equipment.

allegedly admitted that the Jewish settlements located in nonnJew{sh
areas will be in severe danger. If the settlements are not evacuated, it
is predicted that they will be annihilated, but Agency officials have
expressed the belief that they will be able to withstand attack until the
Haganah is equipped with artillery, tanks, and aircraft.
