overs of troops (in. December 1946 and April.. 1947) , strength
has been maintained at approximately 20,000 in Naumburg. Units
in occupation during early May were infantry and artillery,
G imma (E40)a In early May, an armored division was in the
rimma area. It was equipped chiefly with T-34 and a few
Stalin tanks, Marshal Rodmistrcv visited this division in
April. Major Siminov is a member of the divisional. staff.
10. About 10,000 ted Army troops are stationed in CAstrow at present. They
are billeted in th:: barracks on the road to iostock. The suburb of
Detmauansdorf is used as a till ti:? area for officers.
