1. Julio Lopez Olivaup advisor to the Spanish Pretender Don Juan, arrived
in Paris on. 19 February 1947 on his way to London for what1 described
as t?an important conference". In Paris, he saw a highly placed French
of'fioial;, but no officials of the Quay d?Orsay. He conferred with Trifou
Gomeza UGT Minister of Emigration in the Spanish Republican Government-
in-Exile,, now headed by Rodolfo Llopis,, and with a representative of the
CNT from Spain. The meeting was considered successful.
