Activity on the Air Field It was estimated that about 100 Soviet YAK 9's were parked in formation along the west side of the field, and about 60 LA-7's and 36 IL-2's were observed in the southwest area of the field. Four Hungarian-Owned J1-52 transports were standing on the east side of the field near the highway, together with one Fieseler-Storch reconnaissance plane.
