DIST' :3 January 1947 ORIGIN PAGES SUPPLEMENT 25X1X6 Between 14 and 20 Gctober 1946 a heavy artillery unit left the Panzer Sarraosks in Zeits (K-08; and was replaced by a tank unit equipped with T-34 and T-143 tanks. This arti? leay unit has approximately forty'-fouaj or forty-eight guns and is now dug in on the edge of the Zeitzer Forst , maneuvers, ~tyryoops living in earthen huts. This area is constantly used for maneK1em. 20 The entire Zeitzer Forst area is closed to the public and is used as an underground fuel depot. Large quantities of armunition have also been taken to the Zeitzer Forst, particularlys 90mm anti-tank ammunition, small and medium caliber for field artillery, 210 and 240mm artillery, 120mm mortar and 36-'42s "Werfermunitions (?rocket projector ammunition), similar in appearance to projectiles fired from Wehrmaaht 'Panzergrenadaerwagenn. 3.
