Approximately one battalion of troops stationed in the border area was shifted to Lagendorf, Reddigaub and 118dderaen on 24 September. 5. Rock (V33): Artillery troops occupied the barracks in late October, but there was no air activity and the former GAF test field was not being used. Quedlinbur (D35): This field is scheduled to be dismantled completely, accordtnFrr to a source who visited this area between 15 and 30 October. 7., Erfurt (Pa3S): An Increase In air activity at the end of Octobor is reno:ted. Formation flights of about thirty planes each, apparently bombers, were seen. 8a Weimar (357): The former GAF field north of Weimar is now bets.g used- for agricultural purposes. A new small airstrip (unlocated) built by the Russians in 1945 is in use, but air activity, confined to two or three biplanes, is negligible. Cottbus (A57): a) Large quantities of gasoline are being received at this field.
