A geological mission, headed by Br 0 Sekulich and formed at Sarajevo
at the instruction of the local Ministry of Industry and Mines, has
returned to Belgrade -after a four month tour of the region of Bosan-
ski Novi v
2 The main task of this mission was to examine the coal deposits of
the region. New coal deposits were discovered, and special attention
is to be paid to the development of the coal shafts in the neighbor-
hood of Ljesljani. These are at present under repair, the mines having
been damaged during the war.
