SUPPLEMENT .
1., One hundred and sixty single-engine, gull4wing monoplanes believed to be
MIG$39s were observed standing on the field. Of theise, about 120 had three-
bladed propellers. Only 8 or 10 planes were observed to be in working orders
most of the remaining planes were covered with tarpaulins These aircraft
were being repaired on the field, Four single-engine biaplanea of the U-2
type and 6 other unidentified oraft0 all believed to be mail planes!, were
also observed.
2. Between 11:00 and 17:00 hours, 36 planes landed, 40 took off, and 2 to 5 circled
in the air above the field. Traffic between Wiener Neustadt and the field was
light. By day, Russian sentries permit no civilians to approach closer than

3. One hundred and eighteen aircraft were observed on the field, including 94
twin-engine planes with double tail assembly, probably FE-3's; eight were
Uhl type bi-planes; 2 were Mosquitos, Fourteen planes of various types had
been stripped or were undergoing repairs. There were at least 5 planes in
the air the entire time. No insignia were observed on any of the planes.
