It i?3 suggested that the Sub-Committee on Petroleum: a. Review a"_l documented intelligence requirements for this type of basic i..ntelligence, h. Balance these requirements vis-a-vis the finished intelligence produced to zscertain if these needs are being met by current and meaningful nroducts. In this regard, the NIS production schedule for the Cection F=--2 should be reviewed or completeness of document material and timeliness of revisions (I understand this program is currently behind in production by eight (8) Sections). c. Noted response deficiencies to requirements should be docu- mented and sters re taken to correct them by the Sub-Committee or by the agency having primary .nterest, 3.
