c, n reported that the minutes of the last two meetings
(on 26 January and 2 February) had been approved on 3,3 February by interim
action.
2e The Chairman explained that the Bibliography of Economic, Technical
and Scientific Guide Requirements, then being distributed to the EIC
members (EIC.D.138, 8 March 1956, had been prepared by the EIC Subcommittee
on Requirements and Facilities for Collation, in consultation with members
of the scientific intelligence community. Since the individual requirements
manuals listed include economic, technical and scientific subjects it was
proposed that release of this publication be approved jointly by the
Economic Intelligence Committee and the Scientific Estimates Committee.
Accordingly, drafts were being distributed simultaneously to members of
both committees.
