ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. The change in the security classification from Secret to
Confidential of the designation of a particular individual with a
single Subcommittee or Working Group of the EIC was approved by
interim action on 29 January 1958 (See EIC-D-792).
2. EIC-R14-S1+ is now under preparation and will be examined by
the Working Group in the near future.
NOTES FOR AD/RR:
1. Mr. Holmes of Army may raise a question as to the advisability
of updating EIC-R-5, "The Economic Importance of the Resources of
Selected Areas to the US and Other Free World Countries". Heimlay ask
that this question be made an agenda item for the next EIC meeting.
2. Two EIC members have asked when the EIC is to consider the
Air Force external research projects coming up for review (EIC-D-271).
