ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. You may wish to introduce Lt. Col. Robert A. Henderson,
Department of the .Air Force, who is attending his first EIC meeting.
Col. .Henderson replaces Col. Leo M. Braun, reassigned.
2. The Working Group on Sino-Soviet Bloc penetration will consider
and approve the semiannual report on 2 and 3 August for distribution to
the EIC on 10 August. The EIC meeting for review and approval. is
tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, 15 August.
3. The Annual Report to the USIB of the Economic Intelligence
Committee covering activities for Fiscal Year 1961 is under preparation
by the Secretariat.
~-. The annual survey listing combining internal and external
economic research projects on the Sino-Soviet Bloc and on selected
non-Bloc areas is now in Reproduction and will be disseminated in
mid-August.
