The quay where the FRIEDRICH ENGELS berthed. Theterwerensome very old steam-powered cranes on this quay. 2. The western mole where Soviet tankers of 8,000 or 10,000 tons each were tied up. One of these tankers berthed here about every three or four days. At least two cargo ships berthed here eachday. the Soviet passenger ship UKRAINA, a former German ship which was larger than the UKRAINA, and two or three old Soviet cargo ships of about 5,000 tons each; 3. Passenger ships were berthed at this point. 4. Cargo ships were berthed at this point. 5. Two or three wooden patrol boats,,eaOhpe4uipped with,a radiestation and a search light, were berthed at this point. One of these patrol boats mounted an old model of US radar. 6.
