MOVEABLE ACETELYNE GENERATORS
Model FBP-3
The Model FBP-3 Moveable Acetelyne Gener-
ator is intended for producing gaseous acetelyne
from calcium carbide and operates on the "dis-
placement of water" system in combination with
the "water of carbide" system.
Description
The Model ['BP-3 Generator with an output
of 3 m3/hour has two charge retorts. The genera-
for can be provided with a sluice tank which
ensures continuous operation.
The capacity of the sluice tank must equal
30 litres. The acetelyne flows out from the retorts
to the gasheader through the gas pipes, non-
return valves, pipe, and is flushed in cooling water
with which the shell of the generators is primed.
The Model FBP-3 Generator can be used as
a moveable unit and also as a stationary unit
supplying small welding shops.

F BP-3 dienen zum Erzeugen von Azetylengas
aus Kalziumkarbid. Sic arbeiten nacll dem
Prinzip der IVasserverdrangung and dem
\Vasserzulaufsystem.
BESCI-IREIBUNG DES ENTWICKLERS IBP-3
Der Erzeuger F BP-3 mit der Erzeugungs-
leistung von 3m3/Std hat zwei Schubladenretorten
zum Einladei-i des Kalziumkarbides. Er kann mit
einem Schleusenballon (37), der ununterbro_ chene
Arbeit ermoglicht, versehen werden.
Das Volumen des Schleusenballons mul 30
gleiclhen.
Das aus den Retorten kommende Azetylengas
tritt (lurch die Gasleistungsrohre (38), die
Ruckventile (39) and die Rohre (40) in den
Gasbehalter and wird vom Ki lilwasser, das sicll
im Ge1i fuse befindet, durchspult.
