3-~-wse-repert~b~r-euinua]~---,- superconductivity was dis-
covered in a number of alloye of bismuth with r~on-superoonduoting
metals. `Another euperaondueting bismuth alloy has'.* been found;

which was used to measure k-maiotio moment. The alloy sample
used to measure magnetic moment was given the form of an ellipsoid,
after which it was very carefully etched to remove any possible
eurfaoe ferromagnetic impurities. Since t~e alloy reaa~te oativoly
with water, #. the sample was d~a in pure' water.
After a sufficient quantity of the sample had disaolved,'the sam-
ple was repeatedly rinsed in`alcohol^ dried and immediately put

into the apparatus, which -Ye evacuated and filled with gaseous
helium to prevent ixiteraation with atmospheric moisture.
