A fairly V)od assessment of the use of aerial pbytography against
insurgent operations. I have serious reservations regarding the value
of visual observation although. When considers U. B. lot reports
on bomb assessment over North Vietnam and
25X1 pis of trucking activity to the Taos Panhandle (both
o which are, in part, unc irmable on low-level photography) I believe
that the authors may have been too kind.
Article discusses pros and cons of various techniques used to
detect counterinsurgency. Interesting, but of no direct value to us.
