LIAISON Accompanied Stan Taylor work on incuvidual assignments in this field. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence staff, to a' briefing by LA Division/ DDO representatives, headed by LA Division Chief, on LA 25X1 Division anti-terrorist activities. Eight other LA Division personnel 25X1 participated, giving summaries of'terrorist problems in particular countries in the region. O/SA/DO/O, also sat in. Later 25X1 Taylor informed me that this was an excellent briefing and that the team working on the study of Government anti -terrorist programs had now received all the overall briefings they needed and were ready to go to Catherine Essoyan, Abram Shulsky and Angelo Codevilla, all of the 23? LIAISON Reported to Bill Miller, Staff Director, Senate a ect Committee on Intelligence, that the SALT study I had told him was sent down last week was not in fact as it was still being i t d b pr n e , ut that it should be to the Committee this week. I said that the matrix, which Miller had specifically asked about, was included. LIAISON Met with Pat Norton, Senate Select Committee on Intelligence staff, and answered a previous inquiry of his on the NUMEC case regarding whether former President Lyndon Johnson had restricted dissemination on this subject.
