Select Committee on Intelligence staff, to check on the Committee's
preparation for Ambassador Frank Carlucci's nomination hearings and
Taylor reported all was going well and he did not expect any problems.

13. (Unclassified - DFM) LIAISON Called Pat Norton, Senate
Select Committee on Intelligence staff, to tell him I had set up a briefing
for him o on 24 January at 2:00 p. m. in my office. Norton
agreed to this time and place.
14. (Unclassified - MG) LIAISON Received a call from Winston
Woodland, Congressional Research Service, Library of Congress, who
requested a copy of a document entitled "American Perspective on
Commodity Pricing Stability Proposals." I told him I would check on it and
get back to him.
15. (Unclassified - MG) LIAISON Received a call from Clara
Buchanan, Senate Foreign Relations Committee staff, who requested four
copies of the study "A Dollar Cost Comparison of Soviet and U. S. Defense
Activities, 1967-77. " The copies were forwarded this date.
