(Unclassified - DFM) ADMINISTRATIVE DELIVERIES Delivered to Susan Mahler, Senate Select Committee on Intelligence staff, a letter transmitting a report on the Intelligence Community for Senator Birch Bayh (D., Ind.), Committee Chairman. 23. (Unclassified - HMS) LIAISON Received a call from Holmes Brown, in the office of Senator Floyd Haskell (D., Colo. ), requesting topographical maps of Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Israel and an inclusive map of the Middle East. I told him they would be sent to him. 24. (Unclassified - HMS) EMPLOYMENT REQUEST Received a call from Joe Roman, in the Office of Representative Ronald Mottl (D., Ohio), requesting one clerical and one professional employment application. I told him they would be sent to him. OLC Registry was advised. 25. (Internal Use Only - RJK) LIAISON Called Al Tarabochia, STAT Senate Judiciary Committee staff, to inform him that two individuals he recently inquired about are under the control of the State Department. This had been cleared with State in advance. Mr. Tarabochia inquired about em to ment possibilities with the Agency. After checking wit OP, I advised Mr. Tarabochia to submit a resume. 26. (Unclassified - ELS) LIAISON Dan Childs, Senate Select Committee on Intelligence staff, called to say Commander McMahon had called to arrange meetings between the Director and Chairman Birch Bayh (D., Ind.) and Senator William D. Hathaway, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Budget Authorization. Childs understood the topic was the Intelligence Community Staff reorganization, and he wondered what was happening. I told him that the budget amendment was moving toward Presidential approval and I assumed that the Director wished to talk about moving quickly on the 1978 reprogran-rnin as soon as the budget amendment was approved.
