During the course of these presentations, the Agency witnesses responded to questions posed by the members of- Congresspresent,and following the presentations there was a brief question and answer period. 0 8. I I By way of questions, Representative Burlison indicated particular interest in the following areas: levying of SIGINT re uirements within the Intelligence Comm nit .; amount of 25X1 resources devoted to counterintelligence; the usefulness and utilization 25X1 of information on'Soviet aircraft and aircraft engines; particular program cryptonym designations; the role of the FBI in information; the proposed NFAC/-Ieview Panel by the. Agency; procedures, directives or regulations concerning - 25X1 use of the Contingency Reserve; and coordination of human collection activities abroad.. 9.1 Re~2resent ?, following areas: data on.Soviet aircraft and aircraft engines; particular program cryptonym 25x1 designations; the proposed NFAC/ Peview Panel; development of intelligence collection priorities; manpower figures for the Agency; numbers of agents and associated costs; and worldwide communications network support. and also queried the witnesses as to their overall evaluation of the Agency's the size of the CA staff, and use of the term "contingent capabilities," .. 10.
