In order to complete certain sections of the
Subcommittee's final report to Can~rress the following
information is required:
1)
North Korean defense expenditures:
1966-1977
2)
South Korean defense expenditures:
1966-1977
3)
A discussion of any difficulties in comparing
defense expenditures of the P.OK and the DPRK.
4)
Amount of military assistance to the DPRK:1966-77.
(indicate granting nation)
5)
Amount of military sales to DPRK:1966-77
(indicate selling nation)
6)
Amount of military assistance to ROK: 1966-77
7)
Amount of military sales to ROK: 1966-77.
Aggregate figures for.each of the years will be sufficient.
In cases where more than. one nation provided assistance or
sold arms, aggregate figures for each nation are requested.
