1. (Unclassified - KJS) EMPLOYMENT REQUEST Ed Smith,
in the office of Senator Lawton Chiles (D., Fla.), called for information
on the Summer Intern Program. I told him I thought it was too late to apply
for the 1978 Summer Intern Program, but would check, and asked if he
would be interested in the program for 1979. He said he would. I told
him I would check and get back to him.
2. (Unclassified - KJS) LIAISON Called Hal Ford, on the staff
of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, to let him know that
George Carver, DDO, would be able to meet with him at 5:00 p. m. today
in Carver's office.
3. (Unclassified - KJS) LIAISON Alison Kemp, in the Oakland
/office of Representative Ronald V. Dellums (D. , Calif.), called on behalf
J of a constituent for a copy of "Organization and Economic Management in
the USSR. " I told Ms. Kemp I would check and call her back.
