4. (Confidential - LLM) LIAISON Had several conversations
during the day with Mike Epstein and Bill Miller, Senate Select Committee
on Intelligence staff, concerning the recent KCIA material provided to
the Committee. Epstein indicated that it would be a staff recommendation
to the Committee to issue a public interim report on their KCIA findings
in about a month or so.

22. LIAISON Accompanied Stan Taylor,
Catherine Essoyan, Abram Shulsky and Angelo Codevilla, all of the
Senate Select Committee on Int ence staff to a briefing by LA Division/
DDO representatives, headed belli LA Division Chief, on Lk"
Division anti-terrorist activities. Eight other. LA Division personnel
participated, giving summaries of terrorist problems in particular
countries in the region. O/SA/DO/O, also sat in. Later 25x1
Taylor informed me that this was an excellent briefing and that the team
working on the study of Government anti -terrorist programs had now
received all the overall briefings they needed and were ready to go to
work on individual assignments in this field.
23. LIAISON Reported to Bill Miller, Staff
Director, Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, that the SALT study
I had told him was sent down last week was not in fact as it was still being
printed, but that it should be to the Committee this week. I said that
the matrix, which Miller had specifically asked about, was included.
This was satisfactory to Miller. I asked Miller if he needed anvthinz
