1. At your request we have reviewed the 162 numbered
papers of the National Security Council Working Group on
Angola. We have examined in particular the portions of the
papers which were identified in referenced memorandum as
"contain information deritred fro31'a particularlr confidential
2. We believe that these specific portions of the
Working Group papers contain information which :ould reveal
a highly sensitive source and method of collecting intelli -
gence.

5. The point should also be made that it is not
feasible to go any farther than we have in making the
information on this subject available to the staff of the
SSCI. To do so would expose the identity of the source
