the Director's statement concerning public tours of the Headquarters
building per her earlier conversation with Karen Stavnheim, OLC.
OLC, sent via courier to Margie Howe, in the office of Senator Edward W.
Brooke (R., Mass.), her DOCE.X listing of Agency documents which she
had sent to the A en , ng with her request for several documents on
the listing. referred Ms. Howe to the DOCEX Project at 25X1
the Library of Congress to obtain the documents.

Headquarters to review Agency files.

Select Committee on Intelligence staff, the seventh, release of
BLUEBIRD /ARTICHOKE material.

of OLC, called Walter Sheridan, who worked with the staff o t ,~e Senate
Subcommittee on Health and Scientific Research, Committee on Human
Resources, to ascertain if they wanted to receive copies of FOIA releases on
BLUEBIRD/ARTICHOKE material. Mr. Sheridan stated he would appreciate
receiving these releases.
13. (Unclassified - KSN) LIAISON Malia, on the staff of the
Senate Committee on Narcotics Abuse and Control, called inquiring as to
the date of the Senate hearings on Agency behavior modification programs.
I told her the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and the Senate Human
Resources Subcommittee on Health and Scientific Research held hearings on
3 August 1977 and 21 September 1977. She thanked me for the information.
14. (Unclassified - JMD) LIAISON Called Sally Watanabe, in the
office of Senator Daniel K. Inouye (D., Hawaii), and made arrangements for
Ambassador Carlucci to pay a courtesy call on the Senator on 25 January
at 4:00 p.m.
