EMPLOYMENT REQUEST Per her earlier request, I mailed to Mrs. Edmondson, in the Knoxville, Tennessee district office of Senator Howard H. Baker (R. , Tenn. ), an Agency brochure and employment application form for one of their constituents. 2 LIAISON Received a call from Lorraine Huang, in e o ice o' enator Alan D. Cranston (D. , Calif. ), who said they were in receipt of a letter from 'n connection with a 25X1 request from their constituent, Ms. Huang said that 25X1... letter had stated that this was a matter the FBI should deal with and they wanted to send the constituent's letter to the FBI but that we had not returned the letter to them. I confirmed with Sue Kessler that we in fact did have the constituent's letter in our possession and asked her to forward it on to Ms. Huang. 3. EMPLOYMENT REQUEST Per her request, I sent to Kim Baxter, in the office of Representative Ronald A. Sarasin (R. , Conn. ), an Agency brochure and employment application form for one of their constituents. 4. LIAISON . Per the request of Doris, Senate Armed Services Committee staff, I sent four more copies of the Agency publication entitled "A Dollar Cost Comparison of Soviet and US Defense Activities, 1967-77" to the Committee, attention Frank Sullivan, Staff Director. FOIA/LIAISON Spoke with Janet, in the office of Representative Lloyd Meeds (D. , Wash. ), who was calling on behalf of a constituent (unnamed) who is seeking file on himself from FBI and CIA. I suggested to Janet that she forward the request directly to us, rather than handle by phone, and our Information and Privacy Coordinator would seek any further information he might need in order to properly process the request. She will send the letter to us.
