She will be accompanied by Michael Hershman, Gordon Friedman, William Garvelink, and Steven Blush, of the Committee staff. people to discuss unofficially the latest Senate Select Committee on Intelligence draft Title I of the charter legislation: Bill Miller, Elliot Maxwell and Pat Norton, all on the staff of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence; Mike O'Neil and Tom Latimer, on the staff of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence; IC Staff; OGC; and of this o :ice.' I FOIA Walt Sheridan, Senate Judiciary Committee, Subcommittee on Antitrust and Monopoly, who assisted in the MKULTRA hearings conducted by Chairman Edward M. Kennedy (D., Mass.), Senate Committee on Human Resources, Subcommittee VOO"on Health and Scientific Research called. Sheridan received a call from Ms. FitzSimon, Department of Justice, who handles FOIA matters, requesting that she review the CIA classified documents on MKULTRA which were provided to the Kennedy Subcommittee in connection with the hearings. According to Sheridan, FitzSimon wants to determine if there are any documents or information in the material t ro ed by CIA. FitzSimon told Sheridan that she had talked to OGC, STAT however, Sheridan wanted to verify this with CIA before he allowed FitzSimon access. I said I would check into it and get back to him. 19? I ILIAISON Tom Latimer, Staff Director, House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, called and accepted the House Armed Services Committee material on Watergate which the Agency has been holding and which we offered to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
